The Game that Broke the SEO's Back

Why is it that games that are classified as stoner games are looked at differently by a good majority of the public. It was not as clear to me as the other day when a fellow web developer refused me SEO help out of the blue. Since there had been no indication of spite prier to this I was entailed to ask why his sudden shift in support. He was reluctant to say at first but then eventually opened up with his lack of support for some hippie titles being developed. Stoner games he called them . I was taken back because in the past we had developed gore filled shoot em ups and played hours and hours of gun toting, sword slashing, mayhem filled titles with great satisfaction. So it is apparent that although constant visual violence is not a major factor in social development to some,  making games out of less, like what one does in their leisure, is a detriment to society.
